Thirty miles outside of New York City, nestled in the Long Island town of Amityville, stands the house forever linked to the Amityville Horror phenomenon. On November 13, 1974 the estate was the scene of a mass murder. But the reasons why? We're not so sure. It just seems like a LOT of money has been made over some "ghost". Heres some facts, some folklore, and good ole speculation to figure out this mystery.

Defeo is dead now. He changed his story 3 tines. Blamed drugs, demons and his a sister dawn. The last story he told he blamed dawn. They initially wanted to kill just the parents.

Am I the only one who thought that it was weird when they mentioned the static while the priest was on the phone and the whole episode has static?
