The Double Jeopardy Clause in the Fifth Amendment of the U.S Constitution prohibits anyone from being prosecuted twice for substantially the same crime. The relevant part of the Fifth Amendment states, "No person shall . . . be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb . . . . "

Y'all need to read "Meals to Die for" by Brian Price. A chilling compilation of last meal requests of Texas penitentiary death row prisoners, by the resident chef-himself an ex-convict. He also did research into their crimes and included mugshots, handwritten letters & requests. I worked with him for awhile when I was 18. It's such an interesting read. I also graduated from & work for Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX (prison city) next to the Walls Unit (death row). So interesting!

Do to civil verdict, the goldman family had legal rights to oj''s book, " if i did it" and the family published the book, and the goldman family designed the book cover.
