#161 Un-Exorcized Demons

We haven't touched much on exorcisms on this podcast; most likely because we're admittedly skeptical of the supernatural. But exorcisms are a dangerous undertaking, that often result in either the subject or people around the subject being harmed..

This weeks case is a prime example of an exorcism gone wrong...this is the case of Michael Taylor.

Happy Holidays, Creepers! Enjoy this bonus holiday episode while you're ignoring your families... :)

"I had heard whispers of the almost mystical island with only the lighthouse and sheep as residents. “That was the way the Gods intended it, or at least the lesser gods who keep that island” my wife’s voice echoed in my head, she was never fond of the idea...I can't imagine why...."

This week, we're sharing a special preview of the new season of Pushkin's show Lost Hills: Dead in the Water. Lost Hills investigates the dark side of Malibu, California. Beneath a seductive facade, this city of billionaires, celebrities, and surf bums is hiding something menacing.

Season 2 takes place in the early ‘80s, as Malibu was changing from a low-profile beach town into a celebrity haven, full of new money and hard drugs. When a woman and her son mysteriously drowned, her husband was arrested for their murders—and ultimately convicted. But to this day, many people—including the victim's family—claim he’s innocent.

#157 The Honolulu Strangler

There's something scarier about being on the same island as a serial killer.. In the mid 80’s a killer terrorized the island of Honolulu, leaving residents and law enforcement terrified and confused, until a man interjected himself into the investigation, a man we believe to be the Honolulu Strangler.

Several of those cases involve (You guessed it!) Las Vegas, in which he resided for 8 years while working at the Hoover Dam. We originally released this episode under a different podcast back in January of 2017, before we transitioned to True Crime Guys...enjoy this one from the TCG Vault!
